I used to take pictures of my table set-up every night, but I don't do that anymore. I have so many of those pictures that I don't know what the point is anymore.
Meanwhile, I have a brother who is working on the lay-out for my napkin art book, so we'll see what comes of that. He was the one who came up with that idea. I don't know who would buy that book, but you never know. I guess if the book comes out good, we can put it online for sale. That would be cool, maybe.
I wouldn't mind us making some extra scratch. We could both use the money.
The problem with the napkin art is each one is original, and once I sell one, it is gone. All I can do is take a picture of it for documentation purposes. Then I can paint them up again from the original design, or we can photoshop my pictures and do different things with them that way. I also use the pictures for this blog, and for videos.
Napkin art is still something I enjoy doing. Drinking a beer and painting in a bar is a blast most of the time. At other times, it is really tedious, and hard work, which is usually a thing I try to avoid.
I am going to try to jam out some sales tonight, bringing a full load of napkin art. I usually have a running inventory of 400-500 napkins in progress. It gives people a lot to choose from. Sometimes it is too much for people, but that isn't my problem. We usually can find one that they like, once I find out what there interests are.
I have a napkin art for every person.
I think every person in the world should have a napkin art on their wall. I would be a rich man at that point, and then I can move out of this hole of a basement art studio.
Actually, I want to keep this studio, I love it. I just need another chill out place where I can escape it all.
That would be nice.
