'Obi-Shawn Penobi', the first openly gay jedi, with his rainbow lightsaber.  haha.
A Don Martin character picking his nose.  For those that don't know, Don Martin used to work for MAD magazine.

I took a new picture of this napkin art, which is still in the Muddy Waters cafe on Valencia St. near 16th, in San Francisco.
The one on the left I repaired today.  The one on the right, my brother drew, and I painted it up.

This one really needed a repair job.
So here are the two repaired ones on the cash register.  They've been there for a year.  People like them.  :)

Amelie and Gnome in progress.

They're not finished yet, but I don't mind showing unfinished work.  If people don't get it, it ain't my problem.
Most people don't know that art takes a long time.  Some think that making a picture is like taking a picture with a camera.  It doesn't work that way.
     Anyway, these were commissioned.
I'm not a big fan of doing commissions, because it is hard to make people happy, and they don't normally like to pay the real price for my time.
These are for a friend, so it is okay.
Sometimes doing commissions can lead to new areas of exploration, so that is why I relinquish from time to time.
Being a fan of 'Amelie' myself, I don't mind.

I wouldn't mind seeing 'Amelie' naked, at the time the film was made.  Who cares now?  She's a decade older, haha.
