There are a lot of nut jobs in San Francisco, and many that hang around the bar I go to. Thus, this napkin art was born.
I am no stranger to weird things in my head, so this was an appropriate piece to make.
This was a commission piece that some girl ordered from me for her boyfriend. It was to celebrate his sixth year of sobriety. I gave her a painted army man to go along with it.
I ought to make more number paintings like this, and then people can attach their own meaning to it.
Any number painting that I've made in the past, when I have it out on the table, sure enough, some girl will say something like, "That twenty-two reminds me of how many people were in my high school English class!".
Go Figure.
